An evergreen shrub planted along the seashores, the Myoporum bontioides(Sieb.&Zucc.)A.Gray (seaside clerodendrum) has many branches. Its crown having umbellate form, its stems is glabrous, oblong alternate leaves are fleshy, and leaf tip is sharp. Its pink-and-purple flowers shoot from leaf axils. The corollas are shaped like a funnel with five lobes and dark red inside, as well as spherical drupes.
