Neptis hylas lulculenta (common sailer)

Living in the mountain areas of low to intermediate altitude and perching in the underbrush of gramineous plants, the Neptis hylas lulculenta (common sailer) like taking in rotten fruits and tree sap. It has brown wing surfaces, three salient white horizontal bands when spreading the wings, and a horizontal band on fore wings followed by a white spot and a triangle spot. Its ventral wings are yellow brown, which is the lightest shade of the approximate species, with its white stripes surrounded by conspicuous black edges. The male and female look much alike in outer appearance. The fodder of its larvae feed on leguminosae plants like kudzu vines and tropical kudzus.
