Leptosia nina niobe (wood white)
Family pieridae
Distributed all over the island and Orchid Island, the Leptosia nina niobe (wood white) is the smallest among the pieridae family and also the commonest species in Niaosong Wetland Park, especially in winter. The wood white is often seen to dance slowly along the Wooden Trail. The fodder of its larvae is fringed spiderflowers and spider trees.
