Ictinogomphus rapax (common flangetail)

Preferring to perch on water plants or projections, the Ictinogomphus rapax (common flangetail) has merged thorax, and variegated yellow spots if seen from the side. End of the abdomen is a fan-shaped protrusion, whose inside is yellow. The compound eyes are green-brown and above them on the forehead is a band of dark stripe.
