Graphium sarpedon connectens (common bluebottle)

Family papilionidae

Living in everywhere from ground level to low altitude mountain areas, the Graphium sarpedon connectens (common bluebottle) is the commonest species of butterfly family. It can even be spotted in parks and schools of big cities. The common bluebottle often drinks water from wetlands near mountain creeks in groups. The male butterfly has darker shade under the wings. The fodder of its larvae is camphor trees.
