Coccinella repanda (transverse ladybird)

Inhabiting ground level and low altitude mountain areas, both the adult coccinella repanda (transverse ladybird) and itslarvae live on aphids. The transverse ladybird, oval in shape, is larger than the cheilmenes sexmachlata in size. It has wavy stripes on the elytra, conjoining stripes of center and lower part of the body, a black pronotum, and red-orange spots along the outer fore edge.
