Celastrina lavendularis himilcon (Acytolepsis puspa myla)

Living in low to intermediate altitudes mountains, the acytolepsis puspa myla is a common species. The wing surface of the male butterfly is water blue with luster of blueglass. It has black wing margins, white wing ventral side with dotted array along the outer margins, wavy stripes along sub-outer margins, scattered black spots on the fore- and hind- wings; while the female butterfly has dark brown wing surface, blueglass color at the center, and hindwings with wavy stripes along sub-outer margins. The fodder of the larva is plants like common glochidions and longans.
