Location of Appearance: The Main Gate, Planting Reserved Area, and Persimmon Area.

With a length of 22 centimeters, the Turdus chrysolaus (brown-headed thrush) has a dark brown back, orange-red chest and ribs, white lower chest and below. Showing its appearance in plains to forested areas of low altitude, the brown-headed thrush often forages on the ground by turning leaves. It sings with short and sharp “buzzing” sounds.
